Mission

Srila Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Maharaj

In 1966, His Holiness Srila Bhakti Vaibhav Puri Goswami (left) founded the Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission (SKCM).

The Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission & Ashram in Andhra Pradesh, India

The Mission was established to spread the divine teachings of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. A summary of these teachings, also known as Gaudiya Vaishnavism,  has been offered by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur, in his Sri Dasa-Mula Tattva.

In essence, the society aimed to promote love, devotion, and the practice of Bhakti yoga as a means to realize one’s eternal connection with the Supreme Lord.

In 1987, the society was jointly registered under his name and that of Srila Bhakti Jivan Janardan Goswami (right).

Srila Bhakti Vaibhava Puri Maharaj served as President. And Srila Bhakti Jivana Janardana Goswami served as the Vice President of the Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mission.
